The Selangor Asia Challenge (SAC) is an annual preseason tournament organized by Selangor FC. Following the success of the inaugural SAC which was won by True Bangkok United FC in 2020, Selangor FC once again host this prestigious event which serves as a platform for teams across the region to showcase their talent and foster healthy competition among esteemed football clubs in Asia. For this edition, SAC welcome teams from Brunei, Singapore, and Laos featuring in four matches over two days, from April 26th to 28th 2024. SAC follows a format similar to the Emirates Cup, with each goal scored adding one extra point.

Selangor FC (Malaysia)

The famed Red Giants boast a remarkable legacy with 33 Malaysia Cup victories since 1936. In 2023, they clinched the league's runner-up spot and qualifying for the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2 competition organised by AFC. Selangor's historic journey includes an AFC final in 1967. Now, they aim for glory in the Selangor Asia Challenge.

DPMM FC (Brunei)

DPMM FC is a professional football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei owned by the Crown Prince of Brunei, Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah. The club played in the Brunei Premier League in the early 2000s, winning the league title in 2002 and 2004. The club then decided to play in Malaysia, and joined the Malaysian Premier League as a foreign-based team in for the 2005–06 season until 2008. The club then left the Malaysian league and joined Singapore's S.League for the 2009 season.

Balestier Khalsa FC (Singapore)

Balestier Khalsa Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club based in Toa Payoh, Singapore, that competes in the Singapore Premier League. Founded in 1898, the club is considered as the oldest football club in the country and South East Asia. The club have won the Singapore Cup, Singapore League Cup and the Singapore FA Cup once.

Young Elephants FC (Laos)

Young Elephants FC is a professional football club based in Vientiane, Laos, playing in the Lao League 1, the top national football league in Laos. Young Elephants have claimed back-to-back Lao League 1 titles by remaining unbeaten in both campaigns in the 2022 and 2023 season of the giving themselves The Invincibles title. The Elephants made their 2022 AFC Cup debut and are now looking forward to remain as a powerhouse in Laos.
